Apprenticeship Interviews Underway

This morning, I sipped on a cup o' Josephine (java + coconut oil floater, look into it!) while interviewing a possible apprentice in my living room.

We chatted about experience, expectations, trepidations, exciting developments, and opportunities for growth. We talked about what it takes to be a community leader, and the importance of developing a professional identity that is entirely your own. We talked about sex education.

With the handful of interviews that I have scheduled throughout the weekend, I am glad for the opportunity to meet with some pretty cool folks to discuss what calls us to this work, what we can do to make the work sustainable and fulfilling (at the same time!), and how we can better serve our society/selves.

Thank you, in advance, to all of those who have an interest in this program -- I can feel the world shifting beneath my feet with every potential Apprentice Doula I meet.
